Terms of service
Plain terms for a plain service. By creating an account or using the free tools you agree to them.
The service
AutoIndexNow monitors websites you control, detects new and changed pages and submits them to IndexNow endpoints. A submission is a notification to participating search engines. We do not control, and do not promise, crawling, indexing, ranking or being cited by any search engine or AI assistant. Google does not participate in IndexNow.
Your responsibilities
- Only add hosts you are authorised to submit for. Verification by key file is how you prove that.
- Do not use the free tools, the API, deploy hooks or AI clients to submit content you do not control, to probe hosts, or to get around limits, for example by spreading one site across accounts or triggering checks in a loop.
- Keep API keys, deploy hook tokens and connected AI clients under your control. You are responsible for what is done with them; revoke them on the account page when you no longer need them.
Plans, payment and renewal
- Paid plans are sold through Link (Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company), which is the merchant of record for your purchase: it processes the payment, charges the tax and issues receipts and invoices in its own name.
- Prices are listed in US dollars and exclude VAT and sales tax; the tax for your location is added at checkout.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, either monthly or annually. A subscription renews automatically at the same price at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- You can cancel at any time in the billing portal; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Plan changes and cancellation are handled in Stripe's billing portal, which shows what you will be charged before you confirm. When you move to a smaller plan, sites beyond its limit are paused, not deleted.
- We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email.
- Payment and refund questions can go to us or to Link support; Link can refund a purchase within 60 days of payment in certain cases, under its own refund policy.
Limits and fair use
Plan limits are enforced automatically: sites, tracked URLs, check frequency, daily render budget, on-demand checks and deploy-hook checks per day, IndexNow submissions and API rates. The values are on the pricing page. We may pause monitoring or revoke credentials that harm the service, IndexNow endpoints or third parties, and will tell you why.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We aim for high availability but do not promise uptime. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for how search engines or AI assistants treat your pages.
Changes and termination
You can delete your account at any time from the account page; any subscription is cancelled with it. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 14 days in advance.
